COVID-19 Protocols 

To our loyal & valued customers,

Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have gone above and beyond what was required to stay safe. Although it was a rough 2 years, we were extremely fortunate to avoid any spread of Covid amongst our staff or clients.

Following the most recent CDC guidelines, masks will no longer be required, but are always optional. We want everyone to feel comfortable at Salon 31; so please don't hesitate to ask your stylist to wear a mask during your service. If you are considered high risk, our receptionist can suggest availability at our quieter times.

Out of respect for our stylist's time and guests in need of appointments we ask that if you need to cancel, you give us 24 hours’ notice. No shows or cancellations under 24 hours will be charged a $25 fee per service.
 

SALON OPERATION/PROTOCOLS

·      Windows will remain open to allow optimal air circulation (weather permitting).

·      Each guest will receive a freshly washed cape and towel.  All linens are laundered on-site after a single-use. We will also have disposable masks, capes, towels, and gloves for purchase at cost if preferred.

·      Re-trained our staff on essential sanitation, disinfection, infection control and hand-hygiene practices. Our staff has received comprehensive re-training on essential hygiene practices and infection control, including but not limited to Barbicide and COVID-19 protocols. We all completed online sanitation courses

·      Barbicide jars are changed regularly per manufacturer’s instructions.

·      We have added touchless sanitizer dispensers.

·       We have added touchless soap dispensers and single-use hand towels in the bathroom.

CHECK OUT & REBOOKING

·      We are still accepting all forms of payment for hair services; Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, checks, and cash.  We will have change, but we ask that cash for services and tips be exact if possible. 

·      Rebooking – we highly recommend booking your next appointment ahead of time.  Please let your stylist or the receptionist know during your service if you would like to rebook.

·      Retail – Please let your stylist or the receptionist know if there are any retail products you wish to purchase so that we can have them ready for you at checkout.

We appreciate your patience while we work very hard to accommodate all guests, desired services, dates, and times.
